Carla Bayonnet retires

Adult Guardianship Services is sad to report Executive Director, Carla Bayonnet, retired at the end of July. In her time with AGS, Carla:

  • Ensured the care of more than 400 individuals unable to make sound decisions on their own behalf
  • Led a staff of 10+ professional guardians, protecting the needs of those entrusted to the care of AGS
  • Guided more than 100 dedicated volunteers
  • Established business partnerships with Summa and Cleveland Clinic Akron General Hospital
  • Created an innovative care-transition program partnering with long-term care facilities to provide guardianship services for patients in need
  • Founded the Beacon of Hope Award, recognizing community advocates
  • Hosted two successful galas to support agency programs

The AGS Board of Directors is sincerely grateful for all that Carla has done to promote the mission of Adult Guardianship Services.
